Cambridge Biomedical Research Centre
Description
Located on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus, the Cambridge BRC receives funding from the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) to translate fundamental biomedical research into clinical research that benefits patients.
Public involvement in research
Patient and Public research is supported across the campus. The Cambridge University Hospitals Patient and Public Involvement panel reviews documentation from researchers and creates focus groups assisting with specific studies. A popular PPI surgery for researchers runs once a month to assist with PPI input and support.
